Doctor Who Meets Batman In LEGO Trailer

I think at this point, we all recognize LEGO for their remarkable gift in developing a certain type of flow with their integration of franchises/brands. The company while combining tons of brands across the different types of mediums, such as video games, films and toys, has been a key element to the growth of the company.

Their video games have been vital to a huge portion of their companies growth. Over 50 LEGO video games have been released, usually with an ongoing theme of the company’s toy line. Although, most of their video games have been following the same format, until now….

Earlier in the year, LEGO participated amongst the myriad of awesome Superhero News out there, that they too, were debuting a brand new superhero/pop culture video game called, LEGO Dimensions. When announced, the game was highlighted to harness various inspiration from Disney Infinity, Skylanders, and even Nintendo’s Amiibo, as well as utilizing actual toys that can also be played digitally in the game. Because of that, a large number of huge brands/superhero franchises that have collaborated with LEGO in the past, will be playable in the game, including Doctor WhoThe Simpsons, Back to the Future, and of course DC Comics.

As far as what’s to come for the future of Doctor Who, that remains to be seen at International Comic-Con later in the week… Although, fans for now get a look at the Doctor’s presence in LEGO Dimensions, which can be seen in the video trailer above.

Doctor Who will be getting its own level pack, which will include the Tardis, a K9, and the 12th doctor, all available to purchase. Once players buy the level upgrade, they’ll be able to play the new Doctor Who DLC, which based off of the trailer above looks pretty dang awesome. Players are given the ability to play as all twelve doctors, as well as Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman and Michelle Gomez also returning to voice their characters from the series as well.
